If you need to correct the data entry on the policy details page of a registered transaction, you can click on the ‘Edit’ button, make the correction, and click on the ‘Save’ button to save the changes.
If you need to make a correction to the transaction details page, the online SL1 and/or online SL2 form of a registered (closed) transaction, you will need to edit the transaction and the system will backout the original submission and replace it with the corrected version.
For example: If you are making a premium correction to a transaction that has already been registered, you will need to edit the premium of the transaction (including any taxable fees). Once you save the edited version of the transaction the system will prompt you to enter the reason for the edit. Click on the Backout and Replace button and follow the system prompts to submit the corrected transaction to the SLA. You do not need to reenter the information in SLIP.
